Three Purposes
There are three simple reasons why an Orthodox Church has been established here.
The Great Commision
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:19,20
Orthodox Worship
The word "Orthodox" means "correct teaching." The correct teaching informs "correct worship." When discovered, Orthodox worship and spiritual practice is a true blessing.
To Plant the Apostolic Faith in Mexico
True teachings and worship are rooted in the ancient faith handed down to us by the Apostles, the Fathers, martyrs, passion-bearers, and Confessors of the Church. Holy Trinity is here to pass that Tradition onto the people of Guanajuato.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Church is to heal us of our infirmities. The Orthodox Church is a spiritual hospital.
